There is no pollution of the marine environment in Bulgaria’s Black Sea waters from Ukraine, the latest data show. Satellite images show no pollution in Bulgaria’s exclusive economic zone. The bathing zones along the coast are clean as well, the Environment Ministry reported Thursday.
The Ministry is regularly monitoring the water quality in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Tourism after the Kakhovka Dam incident on Ukrainian territory. The Environment Ministry is constantly exchanging information with the Ukrainian, Moldovan, and Romanian authorities about potential pollution of the Black Sea.
