Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria MP Martin Dimitrov, who is on the Parliamentary Budget and Finance Committee. He explained that the biggest expenditure planned between the budget’s first and second reading is precisely for the security sector, for which some BGN 150 million have been set aside. “Therefore, I believe that these demands [for a 10% wage increase at the interior ministry] will be met,” he said.
“We will have a budget with a controlled deficit of around 3%, most of the public demands will be met. This is a good budget, given the situation we’re in,” Dimitrov said, adding that next year’s budget is also being prepared. “Taxes will not be raised,” the MP also said.
