Since the start of 2023 the Employment Agency through its offices across the country has helped over 17,000 youths find work. The findings are released on the occasion of the International Youth Day, August 11, said the Agency on Friday. Some 11,590 (67.8%) of the young people began work on the primary market and the rest through measures for subsidized employment.
The Agency has supported 50 startups of young people. Entrepreneurs begin with hairdressing and beauty, commerce, engineering, technical consultations, dental medicine, construction and leatherware.
