The Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) on Thursday announced a key interest rate of 3.53% from September 1, 2023.
In August, the key annual interest rate was 3.29% and in July – 3.12%. The key interest rate started to rise from the end of September last year. Then, BNB announced an interest rate hike from 0% for September to 0.49% from October 1, 2022. By the end of 2022, the key annual interest rate rose to 1.42%.
