The European Tactical Airlift Programme – Course (ETAP-C 23-3) is being held at Bezmer Air Base until September 21, the Ministry of Defence said on Thursday. Participants in the international flying exercise are servicemen from the air forces of Bulgaria, Denmark and Poland with aviation equipment. The various stages of the exercise will also involve crews from Graf Ignatievo Air Base with MiG-29 aircraft, Bezmer Air Base with Su-25 aircraft, as well as a division from the air force’s anti-aircraft missile base. In addition to the Air Force formations, the flight training also involves troops from the Ground Forces, the Joint Special Operations Command, the Logistics Support Command and teams from the Military Medical Academy.
The leadership of the joint training includes representatives from Air Combat Command, the European Tactical Airlift Centre and the European Air Transport Command.
