Parents and relatives of traffic accident victims staged another protest in Sofia, demanding stricter control of the roads.
The protesters gathered in front of the building of the Council of Ministers and the National Assembly, demanding urgent measures, including legislative ones, to drastically reduce the number of traffic incidents resulting in death and injuries.
The procession went along the pedestrian path on Gurko Street, near the building of the Interior Ministry, where on September 3, 15-year-old Philip was hit by a driver who had consumed alcohol, and died.
This is yet another such protest, after several such demonstrations have already taken place in Sofia. The protesters also held meetings with representatives of several institutions.
