– National Day of Chile. Independence Day (1810). On this date in Bulgarian history:
1918: Entente troops take offensive against Bulgarian army on Southern Front in World War I (1914-1918).
1944: First legal issue of “Rabotnichesko Delo” newspaper comes out, published by Bulgarian Workers’ Party Central Committee.
1960: Diplomatic relations established with Cambodia.
